Why show Out of Stock Items?

We're often asked why we have Out of Stock Items listed on the site. The main reason is because manufacturers (e.g. Universal Hobbies) bring models back periodically and by having the listing - you can ask to be notified when the item returns

Simply go to the Product Page and click "NOTIFY ME WHEN AVAILABLE" - if you are logged in, it will happen automatically, if not you will be asked to enter your email address. Then when (if!) the model comes back into stock, you will receive an email update.
